Parking Privileges

This is a summary of known privileges.  The relevant boroughs should be consulted for the latest information.  Also consult www.ev-network.org.uk for more detailed information.

Central London:
Park for FREE on meters and pay and display bays across Westminster and the City of London (subject to the relevant time restriction; usually 4 hours). This is most of central London.

Greater London:
Barnet--resident's permit £15 for electric vehicle

Brent--50% reduction on resident's permit

Camden--75% reduction on resident's permits, and 50% reduction on Bloomsbury Square car park

Canary Wharf--discounted parking and free charging

Croydon--50% discount on council owned car parks

Hackney--Free parking for both business users and residents

Hammersmith & Fulham--Half price parking permits

Haringey--£15 a year parking permit (£75 off)

Harrow--Free residents permit

Islington -- Free resident's permit

Merton - 50% discount on resident's parking permits

Redbridge - Free residents permit, free parking in Ley St Multi-storey and all on-street parking bays.

Richmond - 50% discount on residents permits

Southwark - 75% discount on residents and business permits

Sutton - Free residents permit, free parking in all pay and displays in the Controlled Parking Zone, free in all council's surface car parks, free charging (not parking) in Gibson Rd Car Park.

Tower Hamlets - 30% discount on residents permits

Waltham Forest - Free residents permit

Wandsworth - £18.75 for an annual resident's parking permit (instead of £75) plus 20% discount card of pay and display. £233 for an all zone annual business permit reduced to £117, if liveried

Sheffield
City Council offer free parking on all council sites for just £10 per year plus a £10 registration fee.
