Convertibles and Coupes: the Cipher range
In addition, a stylish leisure car is planned, which is an environmentally friendly and contemporary version of the famous Cipher, a classic concept car, first shown at the 1980 motor show, click here to see its design evolution
Better batteries
We are working with a number of different battery technology providers to find affordable solutions that enable electric vehicles travel further, including light weight batteries, lithium ion technologies, fuel cells and other exciting, emerging technologies, like refuel.
More flexible drive-trains
We firmly believe that electric power is the most viable and sustainable transport power train technology in a post peak oil, climate change controlled world. So we are committed to improving the efficiencies of electric power. However, where appropriate, we are developing new bio-diesel hybrid and tribrid solutions in partnership with leading designers and universities.
Leading edge, not bleeding edge
We are deeply conscious that there have been many false starts for electric vehicles, largely driven by over-ambitious promises from new battery technologies.
Consequently, our mandate is to be at the leading edge, and not the bleeding edge--not introducing new technologies before they are ready and commercially viable. We are not here for the IPO floatation, but to build a sustainable business worthy of our products and customers' aspirations.
