Zecar ®and Zevan® have been designed to have the same top speed (90kph) as trucks.
We do not want our customers to be in vehicles that hold up trucks, or lower the average speed on our roads.
Up to 56 mile range
This is as good as you can get from electric vehicles, using standard, well-proven lead acid battery technology, as found in all normal vehicles, and the vast majority of other electric vehicles.
As with all electric vehicles, our range is dependent upon the energy required, so the range goes down with the more that you ask of the vehicle, in terms of payload, hill-climbs, acceleration, heating and any other energy consumption. To help, we can provide guidance on economy to drivers.
And for those who want greater or more certain ranges, we offer optional higher performance and additional back-up battery solutions.
World class safety standards
Our vehicles are designed to meet the toughest safety standards, well above the standards required to sell them in the UK.
Occupants are kept safe by a super strong steel chassis and safety cage. We believe this is the strongest and safest design for our vehicles. And to prove it, the UK's Transport Research Laboratory has been commissioned to undertake research to prove that it will keep occupants safe in the toughest crash tests.
